Abstract
The tasks of rehabilitation as a part of medical treatment process, statistics on injuries, relevance and effectiveness of electromechanical means application are described basing on literature data. A device for passive therapeutic exercises during rehabilitation after injuries of elbow and wrist joints is presented. The nitinol actuator with shape memory effect is used as actuator. Cooling principle for nitinol actuator is described.
