Abstract
The detection of UAVs can be carried out using their information features in various ranges: acoustic, radio, optical. Acoustic (ultrasonic) sensors, radar, radio frequency sensors, laser locators, electron-optical / IR sensors (direction finders) are used for their registration. This article will consider the possibilities of detecting UAVs using thermal imagers, pay attention to the characteristics of the resolution of thermal imaging systems, the signal-to-noise ratio, the possibilities of polarization processing of recorded thermal radiation, and the results of some foreign studies on the detection (recognition) of UAVs using thermal imaging cameras.
Key words
