Abstract
The analysis of development prospects for the ground robotic complexes for the nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) reconnaissance in the USA was conducted. The guidance and planning documents of the United States Department of Defense on creation of the robotic complexes (funding of scientific researches, test operations, procurement, technical service) were reviewed. The further ways of development of the ground robotic complexes were defined.

Key words
Nuclear, biological and chemical environment (situation); nuclear, biological and chemical reconnaissance; robotic complexes.
