Abstract
An overview of the state of the art and challenging issues of UGV interfaces development and application is given. It is shown that civil and military systems of such interfaces are developed notedly taking into account development trends of modern autonomous and semi-autonomous systems.
Different types of interfaces and their hardware, ergonomic and safety-related design restrictions and requirements are considered. Teleoperation and supervisory interfaces, including multimodal and intelligent ones are characterized. It is proved that their development should be carried out in parallel with the development of robots.

Key words
Human-robot interface, HRI, unmanned ground vehicle, UGV, teleoperation, supervisory control.
